So this is BeautyLoveTech‘s official 1st travel blog post! Yay! :) Let the travel blogging begin! ;)

We arrived in Laos, at the Vientiane airport. After settling in for a day at mom’s house, the next day we made our way out and about to enjoy different sights.
We went to a very nice outdoor restaurant next to the river in the town of Tha Ngon, about 30 mins North of Vientiane. One of the featured dishes that was ordered was Spicy Live Young River Shrimp that you can see in the video below. I felt compelled to video it :)
There are private boats you can rent to enjoy your lunch/dinner while also enjoying different sights as you cruise up & down the river. But they were booked at the time, and we were hungry, so we decided to enjoy our lunch at one of the nice tables they had facing the river.
After our nice lunch and photo opportunities near and around the restaurant, we decided to make our way to the next place, a Karaoke Bar in the town of Inpang, that featured an interesting illuminated beer bottle Christmas tree in front, and private Karaoke rooms with food service, with green lighting to set the mood.
After a few Karaoke songs, and beer, could you believe we were hungry again? Luckily, they had food service that was delicious, spicy and tasty, and went perfect with our beer/karaoke party ;)
For some reason, the days seem much longer in Laos. Compared to USA where it feels like you can hit one spot in a day, in Laos it seems you can easily visit a few places in a single day. For some reason, everyone is usually in a pleasant mood, relaxed and ready for festive activities.
After eating again and singing a few more songs, we made our way into the club next door where a live band was playing.
They performed well and entertained the crowd with more popular Thai rock songs and ballads.
The place had typical club lighting, with lots of colors, lasers, and flashing lights. A lot of people packed in to see the band play. Well, I believe it must have been pretty late by then. After a few songs, we decided to end our night and go home.
