- Go to the Thien Hao Temple in downtown Los Angeles to pray for New Year blessings and enjoy the beautiful sights within the temple. They open at 10am and it’s pretty amazing!
- Go around the corner to the Chinatown Central Plaza. Walk through, get some lunch, buy some souvenirs, support the local businesses. It’s a fun time!
- Go one of the many Chinese restaurants in Chinatown. A few steps away from the temple, we went to Zen Mei Bistro for lunch and it was delicious. But there are many more restaurants in Chinatown.
- Enjoy the Annual Golden Dragon Parade by finding a good spot along Hill Street or Broadway in Chinatown. We found a good spot, less crowded, on Hill Street (across from Full Moon restaurant), several steps away from Chinatown Central Plaza.
